BNE (Bois Nature Energie) supplies firewood cut into logs with the following characteristics :

– Type of wood : oak, hornbeam or chestnut, whitewood.
– Quality : a selection of round and split logs.
– Lengths : 0.30m, 0.40m, 0.50m, 2.00m
BUYING YOUR WOOD HERE MEANS SUPPORTING FRENCH SILVICULTURE.

Please note :
Before processing, a cubic metre of logs is 1 metre long and will therefore amount to a stacked volume of 1 cubic metre.
Once the logs are cut to a length of 0.5 metres, their stacked volume will amount to just 0.8 cubic metres and 0.66 cubic metres if they are cut to 0.3 metres.
Please bear in mind that once the logs are cut, they will take up less space as the gaps between them will be tighter.
We would recommend that you order your firewood during low season, preferably in the Spring, so that your wood has plenty of time to dry before you need to burn it.
Store your wood in a well-ventilated area and not in a closed building, as it needs to ‘breathe’.
Cut down unnecessary handling time by making access to your wood store as practical as possible.
